Special Olympics Virginia Athletes to Join President Obama at the White House for the Signing of Rosa's Law

On Friday, October 8, 2010, President Obama will sign Rosa’s Law, which commits the federal government to replace the term "mental retardation" with "intellectual disability" in statutes & regulations. Special Olympics Va athletes David Egan & Frank Stephens will join him at the White House for this special moment in history. What an amazing opportunity for them to be present as we replace the “r” word with a new "r" word, "respect.”
