Liberty University will welcome Special Olympics athletes for the Day with the Flames on Oct. 2nd.

Our friends at Liberty University are at it again! On Saturday, October 2nd, they have invited our Special Olympics athletes to campus for a day fun, food, volleyball, and football. We will start the day by attending the Liberty women’s volleyball game, followed by a clinic from the Flames’ volleyball players. After the clinic, Liberty Catering will graciously provide us with our very own on-campus tailgate. Once our athletes have satisfied their hunger, it is on to the football game, where we will cheer on the Flames football team as they take on Savannah State in the grand opening of Liberty’s newly renovated Williams Stadium.

It is going to be a great day, and we hope you will join us. Please email us at piedmontvols@specialolympicsva.org, or contact your local/area coordinator, to confirm your attendance, no later than Thursday, September 23rd. Further information will be sent out at that time.
